What Christopher Smith doesn't like about Islanders Bar:
Server never smiled nor seemed happy to be there. Crab cake appetizer at $25 were the worst crab cake I’ve ever tasted. They were mushy soft and not palatable. Seafood bisque was plain and not exciting. Cesar salad with shrimp nothing to write home about. Fantastic! We came in at 8:45pm, they close at 9pm no one was frustrated; in fact they were extremely kind. The burger was a 5 star alone, but the service from Kelly was beyond exceptional. Truly the best place to eat on the island. As we were leaving we saw an amazing tribute! 100% recommend!
We took the ferry from Fort Morgan to Dauphin Island. We stopped here for a late lunch, the service was good. Food was excellent, pet friendly restaurant. Next year we will visit again. Fresh seafood, cold drinks and a very beachy atmosphere.
Try the fried shrimp coated in the Extra hot sauce that is used on the chicken wings, they are amazing. Everything was great but they were a little understaffed and very busy. Lots of outdoor seating and great views.
