My husband and I have visited this restaurant several times and have really enjoyed our meals. All the usual favourites are represented in the menu, and they are done well, with a good balance of spices and generous servings. The service was slow, the entree that we had ordered as a main came out as an entree. The onion bhaji's were deep fried onion rings. All in all it was a very average experience with me feeling quite nauseous the following day. View all feedback.
One of my favourite resturent i always try different curries and flavours are completely diffrent .I feel that i eat in india because atmosphere , music and decoration represent indian culture .One of important thing that i feel quality and taste that are unable to define in words but when you eat then you came to know about that money you spend is worth .Highly recommeded must try their food speciallyy kadai panner i love it ..
Had a quiet dinner with family on a Monday. Though quiet, there was a steady stream of people picking up their orders. For good reason--the food is simply divine, service is friendly and efficient and prices are very affordable! Each dish was delicious, all the meats tender. Favorite butter chicken place ever! Will definitely come back here again!

The restaurant suffers from being slightly off the main drag of Daylesford eateries, so it has been quiet when we have dined in. This is a shame, for in an area with a dearth of good South Asian restaurants, Spice of India deserves more patrons!
Visiting Hepburn Springs for a mini-break. We were disappointed to learn the Taj Mahal was closed on Mondays. This was our second choice and we were very impressed! Can't recommend the food highly enough. Excellent Indian. The best naan I've had in a while - light, soft yet crispy. The butter chicken was so creamy and the veg korma was to-die-for. Great service too. Thanks very much!
Authentic Indian. Fantastic flavors for every dish. Enjoyed this far more than the supposed top restaurant in Daylseford
