Contribute FeedbackDoc Bales' Grill offers a breakfast buffet with fresh food and friendly staff, especially server Tina. However, some diners had negative experiences, including pushy staff and limited menu options. Overall, reviews were mixed due to dry food and lackluster service at times. Despite this, the upscale southern buffet featuring crab legs and other dishes received praise for its delicious offerings and attentive server Danielle. The dinner buffet offers a variety of high-quality dishes, especially the Lo-Country Boil and Prime Rib carving station. Overall, Doc Bales' Grill is recommended for a culinary experience with a variety of food options.
The restaurant at this hotel resembled a buffet you might find at a Courtyard or Garden Inn. The South location of the hotel is in poor condition and may warrant a downgrade from its current "Hilton" status.
I would not dine at this restaurant again. We booked a reservation because we had read online that they served crab legs. Even the link where I confirmed the reservation had 9 pictures, 4 of which were of crab legs. However, when we asked about it and showed the pictures to the manager, they didn't seem to care and walked away. The food we did end up trying was very dry and not worth the price.
The food quality was not up to par compared to our last visit. The bread was dry and the meat was overcooked. Unless the reviews of this restaurant improve, we do not plan on dining here again.
Late dining while staying at hotel. Buffet was average at best. Many choices were empty or dried out. Overall cleanliness of food area was terrible. Service was very slow and took forever to get attention to get drinks. $49.95 is way too expensive for this option. Avoid if possible
Way overpriced for what honestly was a very much smaller version of a Golden Corral buffet
