My sister was in the ICU unit for almost a month, and I’d like to shout out all of the amazing staff who helped her, took care of her, but also took time out of their busy days to call me and update me every step of the way before her passing. Some (not nearly all) of the amazing people are PA Erin, RN Mike, RN Riddhi, RN Vicky, and countless others that I spoke with but didn’t get to meet in person. Thank you all fo... View all feedback.
What Estrella Tremblay doesn't like about Emory Decatur Hospital:
Overall the staff did great. Whoever checks in patients she was kind of rough speaking but I guess after seeing so many people its all the same. The ladies in the delivery department were on point. Food was horrible though. Most hospitals are. Thanks ladies View all feedback.
All employees were extremely sweet. Nurse jackie made me very comfortable in front of my turbulent puncture. I couldn't be more satisfied with this sick house.
I'll get my mammograms in the breast clinic. it was much better before emory took over. in this month I received a letter that made me aware that it was time for my annual mammogram. I was offered the choice of 3d, i.e. if you want to benefit from 3d, let us know. because I was accused in the past by my insurance company for 3d, I said I wanted a regular mammogram. I was told I couldn't book a normal mammogram. I asked for the number of a supervisor as the letter said I had a choice. I left 2 voicemails for the superior who didn't call me back last week.
I had to use the picture center of the sick house today. I expected a professional staff. the hired person I met today was very rude and unprofessional. I would think emory would hire a better class of employees. this woman should be fired. their interaction with people is a scandal.
My father-in-law was brought to this facility from the hospital because the caregivers promised to take good care of him, but unfortunately, that couldn't be further from the truth. He was disoriented and confused when he arrived, and the staff left a needle in his arm that was still bleeding when we discovered it. He was in desperate need of assistance and they failed to provide it. It is especially concerning because he has good medical coverage, so it's not like they weren't being paid for their services. This facility is not a good option if you are in need of help - please avoid it.

Thank you all for everything and most importantly, for taking care of my sister at the end of her life.
