I finally discovered a restaurant that serves delicious food! I tried the £5 lunch special and was very impressed. The chicken burger was juicy and made with a proper chicken breast, the steak and mushroom pie was very tasty, and the toastie was also delicious. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant. What BrendanB doesn't like about Timberquay:
We went to Timberquay as one of the group had been there twice recently and had a great experience definitely not this time. The restaurant was cold, we had to ask for the heating to be turned up. They couldn’t do cocktails as the bar person had gone home the place was not busy). Three of the mains had to be sent back as the chicken was cold, never a good thing. The service at this restaurant is quick and friendly, the food is scrumptious, and the portions are very generous. The £5 lunch special (sides not included) is a great deal. This has become my new favorite spot for lunchtime.
Popped in for some lunch we took advantage of the £5 lunch menu. Loads to choose from and the kids meals was a massive portion. Would definitely recommend and will be back. Staff were lovely and a pleasure to be around so helpful and nice we paid £38 for 4 adults and 2 children. Amazing value
The Timberquay restaurant is a fantastic place to eat. The staff are very helpful and service is excellent. The £10 menu is amazing value for money. The food was fresh and homemade of excellent quality Fresh homemade chips. Desserts were also homemade and tasted fabulous. I look forward to returning again very soon.
What an amazing wee gem. Went for a casual Saturday lunch. I was handed a lunch menu with everything just £5. We weren't hopeful of having much at that price but couldn't have been more wrong. The food was delicious and plentiful, and the service was great, too. We will definitely be back.
