What User doesn't like about Skip's:
Skip’s has proven time time again that they have theee best pasta in the metro. Everything they serve has the best flavor. The cozy ambience awesome service makes for the perfect date night. I don’t think there’s a thing on their menu that’ll disappoint you, all the way down to the drinks. This south side staple is a must! View all feedback.
The restaurant was quite noisy, which was to be expected. The food was mediocre at best. The service was average, but the server seemed overwhelmed due to the busy atmosphere, which affected the customers. However, this is not entirely her fault, as it is ultimately the responsibility of the establishment.
Aleasha is by far the most amazing bartender I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. She doesn't just mix drinks, she creates works of art and keeps the bar running smoothly.
We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and the establishment was clean both inside and out.
It doesn’t get much better than Skips. Food, drinks, service… All 10/10. If you're a first timer, I recommend the onion rings or bruschetta for appetizers. For entrees, the blackened chicken is my absolute favorite thing on the menu, but everything is good!
Ordered take out. The other items that were ordered were good. However my ribeye steak was terrible. It was maybe a choice grade steak. That was tough and extremely chewy. The fat had no color. Like they never seared the steak to begin with. I will not be ordering a steak from here again. Unless the price is reduced.
