What Branson Ebert doesn't like about Cuisine:
our first note should have been the empty dining room on a full night. exorbitantly expensive. my $75 bark was hard and fat. my wife enjoyed their scallops, but very expensive. no energy at the site. matured environment. so many other, better restaurant choices. View all feedback.
My wife and I have dined at Cuisine numerous times. The food is always outstanding. However, in this review I would like to comment on customer care and how they go beyond expectations. We had recently planned dinner at Cuisine prior to a play at the Fisher Theater. However, mid afternoon of the day of the scheduled play, I received a call from Cuisine informing me that the show had been cancelled. I would not have known had I not received this call. Cuisine, at expense to themselves, took this initiative that allowed me to appropriately alter our plans. THANK YOU Cuisine!!
Consider theater menu whether going to Fisher or not.
Evenings that there is a show at the fisher theater, only the tasting menu is available until about 7:30 when the rush clears.I mainly felt compelled to review to clarify that.We did have a nice experience there tonight; the waitress was great, the food was good, but overall 4 star quality when compared to other restaurants we've gone to around this price point (D. Prime, G.T. Prime, Gordon Ramsay Steak, etc
The owner did reach out to us directly and was very sincere and concerned about what we experienced. He invited us back for another meal. Looking forward to giving the restaurant another shot and the decorum from the owner is very appreciated.
Cuisine represents some of the very best Detroit has to offer. It delivers its namesake with perfectly assembled plates that tantalize the senses, from velvety smooth, rich tenderloins, to buttery seafood in decadent sauces. The desserts walk the knife's edge of opulent and delicate. Whether you are in the Theater Crowd or out for a top shelf dining experience, Cuisine will be my recommendation every time.
