What User doesn't like about Greek-american Eatery:
if they are travelling on I-81 or in scranton, do not miss this place! with zero expectations and at the end eat the best gyro at all. does not expect such authentic Greek food to be found in an inconceivable stripe mall adjacent to a burger king and TGI Friday. seriously, this place has ruined other gyro sites for me and I am usually surrounded by options in the nyc area. I hope to return a day in any case. View all feedback.
The food at this restaurant is consistently delicious, and the service is always pleasant. The portion sizes are also decent. This is one of our top choices for dining in Northeast Pennsylvania.
The Tzatziki is served in a thimble-like portion size without pita bread, costing $7.95. It feels like a total rip off. I think I'll skip this item next time. Other than that, everything else seems to be alright.

The food is really good. Prices are reasonable. I love the Gyro and fries. Service is friendly and fast.
The octopus appetizer is delicious, and so is the tzatziki sauce! You can't go wrong with warm pita and tzatziki sauce.
