I guess this really deserves only 3.5 stars, if you were to really be judging just the food versus what you would typically get in a standard US bigger city chinese restaurant. There are factors that drove the 4 stars; such as Dijon is a smaller city, we have been on a steady diet of italian food (pasta, pizza et al) for the past 3 weeks (Sorrento, rome, florence, venice, milan), and it is reasonably priced didnt cha... What Brijesh Yadav doesn't like about Le Village Mandarin:
small restaurant at the bottom of a course the place and the decoration is very limited ( tables, chairs, wall,...)The staff is very nice and the dishes are very good and fresh, small bemol on the meat plate ( little meat and much too brown)Globally satisfied a breakout would be top View all feedback.
Incoming, the tone is given: by an old decor of an Asian restaurant of the 1950s with red fish in a large aquarium with dirty water, I had to eat right next to it! note of dust on lustre and plastic plants. The welcome was pleasant, with a smile and very fast, then as I was alone and it was 9:30, I was placed on a table even not riddled while there was at least a good 15 free! Then, I was able to appreciate the waitress' arguments with the cook, . she didn't talk about the whole evening with the customers only about politics 5 days from the presidential election: "that of happiness!" since we went to the dish, I asked him the speciality of the chef and let me think I was doing well ... the first bite of a chicken thai coconut sauce was an explosion of flavors so immond The taste was infamily, subtle mix of dish water and a white rubbery piece, so-called chicken ... the orange sauce curled in milk added even more disgust! I've had a beer and a beer cost me 17.5€, although I'm full of the bad quality of their dish! a avoid!
We have tasted the menu and à la carte dishes. Everything was very good, hearty. service is pleasant. we were passing on dijon and we will return to the Mandarin village with pleasure. very good quality/price ratio for a couple with 3 teens.
We have taken some food to take away, with entrances and accompaniments. All we have taken has enjoyed us. a few things that you find (unfortunately) in the wrong Mandarin restaurants (viandes and shrimps of poor quality). Don't find yourself in the Mandarin village! full of different flavors, I enjoyed eating the remains so rich. I strongly recommend this restaurant!

I am going to this restaurant in 1989, we are in 2017, I found the same restaurant, the furniture has not changed much, the map is correct and not expensive, the quality is still there and we take care of the customer.
