The busiest cafe in Double Bay by a country mile. Quite amazing at times how many people are there. But the staff seem to be able to cope well which I guess is why the punters keep coming back time after time. The place is not brilliant. The food and coffee is good Nothing exceptional but certainly good enough to make a snack or a meal there enjoyable. Recommended View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Indigo Double Bay:
Regular haunt of friends I was with and first time they've been disappointed, but frankly i think it's overpriced. Nothing hot and nothing wow. Wouldn't rush back, even for the friendly staff. View all feedback.
What I love most about this place is that it’s dog friendly and the service is great. However the food is not as good as the service. I ordered the salmon cake which tasted great but the portion was so small and the salmon was mixed in with the cake so there was hardly any salmon... for $24 I expected more.
The perfect Sunday brunch situation. The menu is always a good time, with so many options. Mostly opt for the avocado on toast. (Not your average) Happy Sunday!
I have been told by a lot of my Sydney friends about Indigo so I am glad that I was able to come! The outdoor restaurant setting was a real highlight for me, especially as we got to enjoy the fantastic weather that Sydney has to offer! We ordered the King Prawn Bruschetta and Breakfast Bruschetta and were certainly not let down! Although a little pricey and probably could have done with an extra slice of toast, the mix of flavours were great and the portion size was pretty good! I certainly would recommend Indigo, but I am guessing if you’re from Sydney you’ve probably already been!
My wife and I came here for the first time today. The staff were very friendly and delivered good customer service (the German waitress in particular). The menu consisted of a variety of unique breakfast and lunch dishes. We ordered the corn fritters and the croque madam which were very delicious and filling. The coffees were very good also.
Super busy on the weekends, but the food and the coffee are very good. Would come back to try other dishes for sure.
