What User doesn't like about Patrick Guilbaud:
Of course the food is delicious, the service is excellent and the ambiance spacious and welcoming but, sadly, it not only falls down but collapses when it comes to value for money. This famous Dublin restaurant is becoming known for small portions and big prices and I think they may have recently alienated their customers with their fixed pricing structure. Lunch now costs for two courses (even if you only have one).... View all feedback.
Haute cuisine, the use of local ingredients and coupled with probably the best service team in any Irish restaurant today open. they have 2 stars of michelin, so they should be 10/10. they are.
We had the 8 cursor menu and eating was excellent in terms of the quality of the ingredients and the balance and presentation of the courses. it is expensive and bill pushed by more we expected of drinks as gloomy wine recommended. service was also very good and not too much.
I was invited to a function here. the food and service and the wine were excellent. very well made very recommended.
This was by far my favorite dining experience, the service was immaculate, staff so attentive to check on them, it leads to the bathroom, support in sitting facilities, explanation of the plate and cleaning the table as they go without being intrusive. they seem to know if they want a talk or are left alone. I loved the complementary mini dishes as they wait for the starter/desert and the small sort of cake that comes with the tea/coffee. beautiful selection of cheese and really nice free chocolate balls. the venue has a warm cosey feeling with half dim light, found it very relaxing, eating tasted amazing, bathroom really clean and I like the use of tablets for the beverage menu. would definitely recommend. it is very popular so that they want to book in advance. I had a waiting list of 3 months. it is expensive, but worth the money in terms of food and service quality, great place to mark a significant occasion. I can see why it has two Michelin stars! also cannot thank the service staff enough for their amazing hospitality!
