I have read some of the previous reviews showing that the cafe is overall not that good but I disagree! The whole concept of the cafe was amazing as well as the atmosphere with old posters, wooden furnitures and candles. The food was delicious, we...ordered chicken in sweet and sour sauce and basmatic rice. They have cheap coffee and drinks and compared to other restaurants the prices were cheaper! Strongly recommend... View all feedback.
What Emílio Leal doesn't like about Cafe Modigliani:
we ordered some salads to arrive the old ones. at some (very late) point we were told that they lacked a cook. also the place looked very right, but there was a very loud group of students who ruined the evening for all others....The management did nothing about it. total: one night to forget. This is one german restaurant which I always go again and again! Never disappointed! One of the rarest achievements of this cafetaria is how good the food..
Lived in Düsseldorf for a year and this was my “local”.... great little cafe bar, friendly staff and met some great locals during my time there. If I could have brought it back to the UK I would I e
We ordered some salads which took ages to arrive. At some very late point we were told that they were missing a cook. Also, the place looked very quite but there was a very noisy group of students who ruined the evening for everybody else....The management did nothing about it. In sum: a night to forget
When I lived in Düsseldorf this was the place we often went to to have a beer or eat a smaller dinner. Yes, the place isnt very fancy but I think that it is charming
Quaint pub, decorated with hundreds of posters and art prints. Cosy and casual atmosphere. Unique and friendly barkeeperwaiter. It's the perfect place to hang around and have some drinks. Food is OK, but nothing special
