Otto Dobbelstein - Duisburg

Must visit when in Duisburg. Cute pastry/bakery/coffee shop. The lovely old lady helped me with what to buy as I'm a tourist in the city. I got myself some pralines and truffles. They accept cards with a minimum purchase of 10€ or 15€ if I remember correctly.

You pay a little more, for that quality and ambience vote. The largest functional coffee mill in the world (see pictures) as well as other historical accessories around coffee, cakes, bread and pastries are particularly mentioned here. I was there for breakfast for a birthday. If there weren't breakfasts every week, you can spend a few euros on special occasions. But otherwise I was completely satisfied. P.S.: also the cakes/kitchens from there were simply top class.

The absolutely best café in Duisburg!!!! Coffee specialities and cakes from the finest. The varied lunch table is also excellent. Eating like from Grandma's kitchen. Just delicious. If you still take the ever-preparing, friendly service and the really great ambience, Café Dobbelstein is simply worth a recommendation!!! Here the customer is still king, here he can be it!!!
