for 35 years vegetarian and that was definitiw my best vegetarian breakfast, so far, on both days. menu has a large selection for vegetarian and vegan. perhaps one of the best I have seen in sa so far. the chef went out of that to prepare our breakfast. the hippieburger was also great 10/10. great, fine culinary experience View all feedback.
What User dislikes about Critchley Hackle Lodge:
we were in the lodge and had dinner in the restaurant. we were well received when entering and the service was good with stunning views of the pond that was eating okay. the nurseries were a generous part and well received. the ochs tail was ok, but 1 piece (the big 1) was understated. the lamb was the best. it was well cooked, paired with maic and other vegetables. the malva was sweet (as it should be, more custard... A beautiful place, quiet and good service. extraordinary eating. I mean exceptional. simply do not book them via Booking.com they give them a unit that is not managed by the lodge and they are a demolition.
Our host, charming was so warm and welcoming. her personal was extremely professional and helpful. great food and wine. her matratecs are fantastic, which led to the best sleep I had already. a precious stone that will always be our go-to when they visit dullstroom. Thank you!
