Luciano's Sugarloaf - Duluth

I had a fantastic dining experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was exceptional.

A little odd, but it seems like every time we go out we have a similar experience. The restaurant is near empty, there is a lot of wait staff, but you sit and wait a long time to place your order and get served and get your bill, but everyone is standing around chit-chatting (and smiling). The food arrives slow and cooled down. Seemed like the food was above average, but was leftover from lunch. The salad I had was well put together, but it seemed like the lettuce had sat in dressing for a while, my veggies were old (like from lunch or yesterday), but not bad. The meats were a little over cooked. My advice is to order things that make good leftovers such as soup, the grilled meats (but order rare), ice cream, tiramisu. Order the dessert first and when it arrives, say you want a coffee, then when the coffee finally arrives, then you can eat the dessert (but you can't do that with the icecream). Don't be ashamed to ask them if they can pop it in the microwave for a minute

This was our first time eating at Luciano’s, and let us say that the experience was excellent. The food, service and ambiance was all excellent. Our server, Nicole, was awesome We will definitely add this to our date night rotation going forward Regards Farid and Angie
