Love this cafe for its very good coffee. The toasted panini are excellent too, with really interesting fillings. Really firendly staff and warm atmosphere. Definately recommend! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Marmalade Cafe:
Marmalade is a great spot for locals to catch up, as has been noted, or passing trade to grab a quick coffee, take away muffin or thick shake. We're there frequently for morning coffee and, with rare exceptions it's spot on and worth going out of your way for. (Around $4.50).The food is tasty, not pretentious, and reasonably priced. They have a surcharge on public holidays which is fine - nice that they are open and paying staff I'm more and I'm happy to contribute another 50c or so.The ambiance is 'shopping centre mall ', not too noisy though and of course no view - not a problem if you're just catching up. The staff are neither chatty nor unfriendly, just very busy most of the time as it is a popular spot.
Always busy, small coffee shop great coffee and cakes. Sometimes standing room only staff always polite and cheerful A great little place
Yep great place always busy especially Sunday breakfast and afternoon tea time ! Food yummy well presented ....everything ok other than smiles on staff that are noticeable lacking more so on older staff . I have tried so many times to make conversation and get a smile ....NOTHING ! Think she needs to move on ! However if you can handle that as I do then enjoy the food .....quick service is a positive too
My wife and I regularly go to Marmalade for Coffee on the weekend. There coffee's are consistently good and they have a very large selection of cakes etc, many of which look to be home made. My favourites are the tea cakes, heated up with a little cream. Yum! I also see many going there in the morning for breakfast - this also looks quite delicious. This little cafe seems to be regular meeting place for many of the locals in Carine & Duncraig.
