Farmer's Basket - Dunwoody

I tried the string beans, sweet potato, and okra and was pleased with my meal. The service was fantastic and the seating area was nice. Located in the Perimeter Mall food court, this restaurant offers great vegetarian options with high quality and fresh ingredients.

The grilled chicken was horrible and undercooked, the Mac and cheese lacked flavor, and the cabbage was hard. Even the cornbread was terrible.

I am disappointed that they no longer offer my beloved chicken tenders. Why would they remove them from the menu?

We are on a road trip, and our journey brought us to ATL! No sooner had we checked In to our hotel did I start looking for food. I am a vegan in a car with three meat eaters--every place we stopped along the way left me with little to no options. Thank goodness for Door Dash! The delivery time was amazing--probably less than 20 minutes. I ordered a Beyond burger with smoked paprika mayo and onions. The Mayo was rationed out and the onions were clearly in surplus. I left 4-5 rings of red onions on the burger but I took TWELVE off. That was a bit much, but hey--there is probably someone out there that likes extra onions. I also ordered sweet potato hush puppies, I don't know how they did it, but this was the best amalgamation of flavor I have ever tasted!! The sweet of the potato with the crunchy of a hush puppies was unbelievable! It came with some dipping sauce but it wasn't mentioned on the menu (provided by Door Dash), so I don't know what this brown-maybe-it-was-spiced-apple-sauce-but-I'm-not-sure dip really was...it was good, but I would have preferred to know it's contents. Strangely, my meal was delivered with NOT ONE NAPKIN in the bag. And if I were at home, I probably would not have noticed. I ended up using a hotel wash cloth as a napkin.

While in the mall today I stopped at The Farmer's Basket for lunch. I had the grilled chicken, and it was freshly prepared, plentiful, delicious, and only $6.29.
