Contribute Feedback What Luigi Fahey likes about Thursday's Montreal:
My husband and I ate at Thursdays recently in celebration of our anniversary. We were in the mood for a French inspired dinner in an upscale environment. Thursdays didn't disappoint. We sat outside overlooking the city as the sun went down. We enjoyed wine/beer and...a bowl of the lobster bisque (wonderful Our entrees were delicious in portions that were filling without feeling overly stuffed. The price was reasonabl... What Gerda Kunze doesn't like about Thursday's Montreal:
This afternoon we were about 25 people celebrating an 85th birthday. The food that was served was really low quality. I had the burger plate that was dry and tasteless. The fries were about the quality of McDonalds . The large birthday cake was frozen solid and even after complaining to the staff no other dessert was offered as a replacement. The person next to had sea bass with a soggy skin left on. She left most of... View all feedback.
They rejected my entrance because I looked gay. not gay friendly and they don't care about them because they just want to people.

Crescent street is the center of nightlife in Montreal. We visited the place next door and had a great time. We were a group of 7 and we sat at the bar. The service for Thursday’s was horrible. We sat for almost 20 minutes without...placing an order for a beer. We ordered chicken fingers and waited almost a half hour to receive them. The bartender/waitress dropped the food in front of us and ran off, without asking if we needed anything else. We didn’t take long to eat, but when we asked for the check the bartender completely ignored us. We were waiting for 20 minutes then had to go grab the manager ourselves to ask for the bill. He brushed us off and said the bartender will bring it. When I told him that the service sucked he shrugged and said he was sorry. The place was not busy at 2:30 pm. No one was inside, there’s no reason to receive this type of service. The one good thing was that the beer was cold. Don’t waste the aggravation on Thursday’s. Sir Winston Churchills is next door, you will have a much better time.
After the Habs game, we were looking for a place to have a late dinner and a glass. At first we were told the kitchen had just closed, but then they agreed to keep it open for us and some other guests. So, on balance...we are grateful we were served... but there seemed to be a series of service breakdowns, as it didn't seem to be clear who did what among the staff. I suppose near 11pm on a Monday night you don't see a place at its best.
This is our second time having a family brunch at Thursday’s Bistro (last time was about 12 months prior). Excellent service, food value. Lovely upscale bistro ambience that allows for conversation. The pastry was fresh and delicious in true French style. The home made...jam was wonderful. Great coffee. The orange juice is good and seems to be a premium OJ like Tropicana. I love, love, love the scrambled eggs here. Not overdone or runny but fluffy and tasty. Our large party all enjoyed their dishes: waffles, healthy smoked salmon, smoked salmon eggs benny. I sampled the steak tartar the last time and it too was well prepared. Consistent, and fairly priced as it includes coffee, OJ and their wonderful French-style pastries. We will definitely be back!
