Woodthorpe - East Lindsey

We visited the garden centre and decided to have a carvery. The food was luke warm and very mediocre. We won’t be wasting money here again as this is our second unsatisfactory meal here in the last month

Visited for light lunch and ordered the soup and roll , my husband had sausage roll and cake we both had a coffee my husband had eaten his and we had drunk our coffee and after waiting around 20 mins the soup arrived it was extremely hot and so thick you could have stood the spoon up in it, when it cooled to a safe temperature to eat it was awful, tasteless, thick mushed up mess basically uneatable so I didn’t. The restaurant was not busy so no idea what took so long to get soup to the table. This is not the first bad food we have had here but first time complained.

Recently visited and we got 2 full English breakfasts, they was £5.99 each, they came out quickly but was cold and looked like it had just been thrown on a plate. We got a bottle of oasis each to go with our breakfast and they had no prices on we later realised they was £3 each which is rather pricey for a little bottle of juice

Called here on way to Mablethorpe, needed a couple of garden things. Had a cappucino each which came to £5.10 total, lukewarm and a bit pricey.

The Carvery is excellent, but they were out of some types of meats when we arrived at 1:40pm. We will go earlier next time. It is a great option for those with gluten allergies. The staff is friendly and helpful. The desserts and cakes are delicious, so I must resist going too often. It is also a good spot for just coffee (and cake).
