I drive by this place all the time and it wasn't until a rainy day a few weeks ago, we stopped in.It is such a cute spot! Cozy, homey and perfect neighbourhood stop for breakfast.I had their eggs benedict and thought everything was really tasty. And the prices!!Seriously, brunch is something I find hard to justify, because. Eggs. Like so cheap so I don't want to pay $20 for them. But I believe my dish was around $11.... View all feedback.

It's night intricate French cooking. It's breakfast. But somehow they haven't mastered or even gotten good at it. Sausages were done on one side. But the crime was the potatoes. Burned. Cinder. And yet served! How can you look at those and think they're good enough to go on a plate?Staff was unapologetic at the table clearing (and carefully never approached during the meal to ask how things were). Avoid. We arrived in the afternoon for brunch but there were no available tables, so we sat at the bar. Our orders were taken shortly after. It took about 30 minutes to get a table and another 45 minutes for our meals to arrive.
Although the restaurant is a good place to eat, the service is a bit slow. It took 25 minutes to get a coffee and another 20 minutes to receive our food.
The breakfast at this restaurant is fantastic! The food is fresh and tasty, so do yourself a favor and eat here regularly.
Had lunch at Mad Dog (no parking but across from the Beer Store) on a weekday, yet it was a wait to get a table in such a small cafe. The service was fast and Montreal bagel was good. The fresh salads could be slightly heartier, but for the price, there's no complaining. It's nice that places offer herbal teas along with good varieties of coffee and hot drinks. I would return on a weekend for brunch (until 3:00) after shopping at Gerrard Square a couple blocks away. Paired with an afternoon at Ashbridges Bay park with kite-flying or beach volleyball, it could be a perfect summer day!
I signed up for the Bites & Sites food walking tour this past Sunday and one of the stops was this place. Here we were given a sample size of eggs benedict and hash browns (which was huge!). The server we had was lovely and so was the owner. If I were in the area again, I would check this place out for breakfast!
