Masala Wok - Edmonton

Worst place ever. Zero customer service and Zero respect for customer. On Aug I ordered small tray (good for of chili chicken and specially mentioned to make it without onion and green onion. They took the order and assured me it will be...done as per request. I went to pickup and confirmed with the staff again on No Onions and the staff said it is made as requested. When I reached home and found Onions so I called Masala Wok and informed them of their mistake, The staff that answered the phone said it is not possible as she had packed the tray herself, I then took a picture and sent to their whatsapp number and she after viewing apologized and told me to go somewhere else next time. There was nothing they can do now. I was upset on their response and rudely telling the customer to go to other place. I requested to speak to the owner and she refused to give it to the owner. She said she was the one who looks after the restaurant. I again requested to speak to the owner and she then gave it another staff who called herself as the manager of the restaurant. At this point I was not interested to speak to any staff and this manager very rudely tells me WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM, just go some other place next time. And I will NOT give the phone to the manager I asked for her name and she refused to give it, I again requested to speak with the owner and she declined and did not connect me to them. I hung up the phone as her behavior was not at all professional I will never go to this place ever and will not recommend anyone. My entire group for people have decided the same for a place where the staff has not ethics and professionalism on how to speak to the customer and the owners who do not want to be accountable for the error made in their order. Its a Shame on this business.

Last week I thought to have dine in to this restaurant, and very upset now that it was my biggest mistake. I was asked by person from reception which country am I from? and reception told me that washroom is for the people who come...for dinner, I replied and explained him politely several times that I have come here for dinner. As I thought he does not want to serve me, I told him to be nice so you can get my business. He asked me to leave and also told me to never come back. I think they don't need our business that's why they find ways to insult customers. I am a decent professional engineer, working at highly respected position, I have never witnessed or heard humiliation like this. People should avoid this kind of businesses.

I went Masala Wok with my friend for lunch. It was Monday and very quiet. Price was VERY reasonable and buffet was good. Interesting thing is that there were few Chinese foods items in buffet along with Eastern Indian. Fried Chow main was excellent!...There are not too many items but it is definitely worth your money!

Love their baby corn and manchurian rice and Hakka noodles. Friday street food evening layout is a great experience.

It was my birthday and we went for buffet and the setting is always so welcoming and the food was delicious I would suggest u should go and try it once for sure!!!!!!!
