Upstairs to the Best Western City Centre Inn was Runway29 Lounge. For a hotel Bar and Restaurant I found it friendly and reasonably priced so did not feel the need to go out and find a cheaper spot. The food was quite good and at there both nights I was in the hotel. View all feedback.

Had dinner here on a Saturday night and was surprised to find only another couple of groups here. The server was so bored that she drove us nuts. The second you wiped your mouth she was there to clear a dish. We ordered the dry ribs as an appetizer and an order of 2 piece fish and chips to split. Unfortunately, we had only each eaten 2 ribs each when the main came. We put aside the ribs and started on the meal which... View all feedback.

You know what I love? Getting exactly what I ask for! I have ordered from here on Uber eats the last couple days and to my surprise I got exactly what I asked for, even the extras! I have spent money on these stuck up places that are supposed to be amazing and were cheap as hell. Most places don't give a ff about your notes but this place has been incredible about going beyond. And aside from that, the food is really really good! I've had breakfast and dinner so far and the VALUE FOR YOUR MONEY is incredible! I have been nothing but pleasantly surprised, in a world where restaurants no longer care about their customers, this little place REALLY DOES!
Stayed at the Best Western for Med appointments, the first night we went to the Runway 29 lounge for dinner. The food was Ok and portions are large ( I think the plate had a whole bag of Mc Caines fries) . The waitress asked if we were guests of the hotel and gave us 10% off the food. The second night we went back again for dinner and had the fish special (cod fillets) when the bill came we told Chris that we were guest of the Hotel, he asked us where the discount card was. As we didn't need a card the night before we had not brought it. We showed him our room keys to prove we were Hotel guest. He made a point of going and getting a card to show us . He then said he would give us the discount as we had room keys. He discounted a cup of tea only the service up to that point had been fair but Chris's attitude Tee'd me off. If you stay at the Best Western do your self a favour and pick up a 6 pack and order a pizza.

We put aside the ribs and started on the meal which was quite good but of course the ribs were stone cold by the time we got back to them. The ribs were great when they were hot but no so good cold. Beer was served in a frosted mug. Just your standard bar beers for choices.
A very quaint pub to come to with a nice second story view. Great menu and food. The fireplaces add to the coziness of the place. I highly recommend everyone to come try it out.
