My husband had chengeh and I had vaziri, both dishes were delicious! I would recommend this restaurant. Enjoy your meal!

My friend introduced me to this Persian restaurant last year, and we returned for the delicious stew they recommended. They were right - the stew was incredibly flavorful and had my taste buds dancing halfway through. It was also served in generous portions, perfect for sharing. We both ordered the same dish and left feeling satisfied. To start, we enjoyed an eggplant appetizer with flatbread. Despite our best efforts, we couldn't finish our hearty meals. I've already recommended this restaurant to a coworker who lives nearby in Sherwood Park.
I was excited to introduce my non-Persian friends and family to Persian cuisine and hospitality, but unfortunately, it was a letdown.
Small restaurant, clean, simple with good food...... Portions were generous and tasty and, in my opinion, reasonably priced. Lunch for of us AND we took a lot home for leftovers. I would recommend Shiaz Restaurant if you would like to try something...a little different. Not licensed .
