The owner is super nice. The food is excellent and the owner always offer great "tahdig" which was my favourite part.

We are regulars here and the service is just amazing every time! Persian rice typically has no sauce, so before discriminating based on preconceived notions of how dishes should be - open your mind! If you get kabob, rice is saffron and plain, which is normal of persian cuisine. I suggest buying Mast-o-Khiar alongside it which I guess is (yogurt with cucumbers). If you have any reservations about what to buy - just follow the tips above ;) it works like a charm for all my friends I bring here!

This is the best place for Persian food. The food quality is excellent. Prices are reasonable. Portion sizes are large. Owner is a thorough gentleman and a very nice person. We have been going to this restaurant for almost 4 years now. My kids love the food at Shiraz.

Read the reviews so decided to check it out as it was across the street from my hotel. Was a bit concerned that the restaurant was empty but I was welcomed in and really enjoyed the food. I had the beef and lamb skewers as well as flatbread and yogurt, onion, cucumber and mint dip. Really enjoyed it and looking to go back.

My friend introduced me to this Persian restaurant recently and said her Persian friend recommended one of the menus stews that was sweet, tangy and had pomegranates. I trusted this because i have never eaten at this style restaurant before. They were right. The stew was so flavourful my tastebuds we warn out halfway through. It also came with close to 4 cups of rice. That is certainly a meal to be broken into two. We both ordered the same thing so we both had great leftovers. We also started with an eggplant curry that came with flatbread. There was no way we were finishing up our stews. I have already recommended this restaurant to a coworker who lives nearby in Sherwood Park.
