Bar Restaurant Edelweiss

Edelweiss is a medium-sized restaurant in pont de suert, probably one of the best options in the city to eat it served local cuisine and hamburger. the restaurant offers a matching menu for around 15 euro with well prepared and tasteful options.

I am from the city, so I decided to get my friend from Germany to taste tapas and hang up for an evening meal. not good VEGAN options, although we demand to let them know, and they said that they are up to do vegan options in the kitchen. we have the only option that was the vegan burguer. it was one of the worst funerals of all time. but this can happen in a small city where is strange to sell this option. the accused is about the service, jose a waiter who was rude. “A so boring burguer, who is the one who doesn’t eat meat?” we were very upset for his commentary, and he was so with others. although the situation, the woman who was also a waitress was so beautiful and respectful. my mother enjoys the mushroom croquettes. it is a nice place owner should take care of the service thing because they are the image of the company. thx.

Croquettes of mushrooms were homemade and tasteful ok. for the rest it was more like snack food: before the reserveribs was cooked and heated again, French french fries were cooked by the frozen type and not properly cooked and also came cold in the plate and as usual in catalunya total lack of some cooked vegetables (3 small pimientos or a leaf salate are not sweet).

Excellent food and service, fair price and nice place.

The menu is good, but the service was very slow almost two hours to eat a menu and something else that I didn't get was 7 € more for an entrecot that then turned out a slightly more disappointing steak.
