El Vergel is a great restaurant for an escape from the city! Only 10 minutes from El Centro but a world apart in atmospherse (this is considered El Campo). This lovely French Bistro has an excellent menu and is well executed by Chef Magna. Try Tuna Tartare, Fried Calamari, Vichysoisse, Steak Frites, Duck Conftit or Pasta with Seafood! All are delicious.
