Eltvinum - Eltville am Rhein

Had a nice meal with friends on the terrasse, food is good, well presented, and correctly priced. Wines were good as well. Service also well done

What a great hotel. The rooms are large for Europe. The food is amazing from an experienced chef. They ahve a nice wine bar where you can purchase local wines at a reasonable price (and the local wines are really good). I highly recommend the place.

We visited Eltvinun thinking that the food was good the last times we were there, so it would be great to take our friends that we had not seen in a while there. We didn't know that it had changed ownership since the last time we were there. Not recognizing any of the people, but still remembering that the food and the staff were awesome, we ordered and proceeded to interact with the lady who seated us and took our order. She informed us that the restaurant had new owners . Then brought us a complementary soup. It was amazing. And so was the food. The service was wonderful. The food was a little pricey as it was before ownership changed hands, but we expected to pay a little more for the great food and service that we usually got there. I must say it was even better than before. Our friends can't stop talking about what a wonderful time they had and how wonderful the food was.

Great small restaurant with delicious offerings and good local wine list. Service was attentive and friendly.
