We struggled to find any decent restaurants open when we visited Epinal, so we were pleased when we came across this one which seemed to share tables with another bar and restaurant in the square. The inside is lovely, the menu is quite varied. My husband had the andouillette sausages which were huge. We had a quick bite on a rare sunny Sunday at the end of May in their outdoor dining area on the main square in the old city. It was a happening place with lots of locals of all ages enjoying everything from a light lunch of omelette, quiche, crepes, cocque monsieur, etc. Many just had a beer and coffee. We had a vegan burger on the spacious terrace of the old town center of epinal. the personal was very friendly and knowledgeable about veganism. there were two vegan options: the vegan burger and vegan tagliatelle. we chose the burger. we had not the highest expectations, but it was really very tasteful!
Her veggie burger comes a secret sauce that contains milk cream and in quite sure was the hase milk bread, although she could not confirm it. the personal was also quite uncomfortable (which essentially told me that I didn't finish my plate) don't go there if you can avoid it.
