This establishment has been there since I was little. I am now 38. I have a lot of memories here, including after-school french fries. Now it's me and my 11-year making memories at the country. Their food is absolutely delicious . View all feedback.
What Abigail Jorgensen doesn't like about The Country Loung:
I went here with friends and it was the worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had. They took over 2 hours to get our food made. The waiter dropped my friends food in her lap and put her thumb in my other friends food. All the food we ordered could have been made it less than 10 minutes. It was a nightmare!! Waited 2 hours for food. Others got food who came in after. Said it was because we ordered hash browns.. one waitress was rude and seen her be rude to others as well. Kept getting told our food was coming and it didn’t. Our waitress was older and had a very hard time taking our order. Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
The food at this restaurant is decent. The carpets may be a bit off-putting at first, but you can easily ignore them. The veggie omelet was tasty, with a good amount of non-yellow cheese. The veggies and mushrooms were cooked inside the omelet, so if you prefer them on the side, you may be disappointed. The hash browns and bacon may cause a delay in receiving your meal, as clearly stated on the menu. However, the hash browns were not very well-cooked. The pancakes were average, served with fake maple syrup and fruit/berry syrup. The waitress was friendly and engaged, providing a bright spot in the visit. The manager seemed to be having a rough day, impacting the overall atmosphere. Overall, this restaurant is a typical breakfast/lunch diner with decent food and prices. It may be worth a visit to see if you enjoy their fry oil, but personally, I did not.
