The food at this restaurant was fantastic, particularly the fish and chips. However, there was only one staff member working, leading to them being overwhelmed due to the high busyness of the establishment. View all feedback.
What Nikolai Serban doesn't like about Drunken Fish:
I ordered the crab cakes and the shrimp salad at this restaurant. Honestly, the crab cakes were delicious, but the shrimp salad was disappointing. It tasted cheap and unappetizing. I would even go as far as to say it was gross and definitely not worth the price. However, the service was good and the staff were friendly. View all feedback.
Wow, this restaurant serves amazing fish! I have been here about 4 times and every visit has been delicious. The fish sandwich is particularly good, with two pieces of crispy and fresh fish in each bite, topped with lemon. I have tried fish at other places since moving here, but this restaurant definitely has the tastiest. I never knew what I was missing before trying their fish.
Yesterday (Sunday), we decided to head to Drunken Fish for an early dinner from our apartment. We stood at our usual spot and waited for someone to take our drink order, but no one came. Eventually, my husband ordered our drinks and fish and chips from a young man at the bar. When our food was ready, we waited for a server to bring it to our table, but no one did. My husband had to go into the bar to inquire about our order and bring it to our table himself. Unfortunately, the food was cold by the time he got it. Despite paying and tipping when we ordered, we were mostly ignored by the staff. Because of this experience, it is highly unlikely that we will ever go back to Drunken Fish.
The crab cake was delicious. However, the calamari dish had a baby octopus in it, which was upsetting to my daughter and caused us both to feel uncomfortable. I tried to remove it for a bite, but it ruined our appetites. I suggest including a warning on the menu for parents with sensitive children, or at least noting that the dish may contain baby octopus. The fish was okay, but the experience with the calamari left us disappointed. When I showed two waitresses the intact baby octopus, they just laughed.
Amazing eating, amazing drinks. my common seafood in eugene.
Great atmosphere. If you eat here you can either go to the bar and order or a waiter will come to the table. I had the fish tacos, and were on point. Live bands as well.
