La Voile is a pleasant restaurant nestled right beside the lake and small harbour in Evian. The terrace has large parasols and shading which was perfect in the summer heat for al fresco lunching. You can just sit and admire the views and the ducks, swans, geese all going about their business, whilst enjoying their speciality of lake perch with chips and tartare sauce. A very simple but enjoyable lunch with a nice salad on the side. €26 for the dish isn't cheap, but much better value than Geneva and plenty of perch filets on the plate. There appeared to be plenty of other choices on an extensive menu as well as a whole host of ice cream based puddings. Excellent service.Enjoyable

I was expecting to eat Filet de perche of Leman lake, as it was on the menu. But, it was not available. It was not high season, so that they might no buy it. I ate an imported perche.

Jamais déçus, une valeur sûre, un service de qualité, servi avec le sourire et toujours autant de convivialité. Des assiettes copieuses, un peu trop pour moi, bref depuis de nombreuses années, le cadre reste inchangé, vue sur le leman, l'équipe vous accueille avec le sourire et tant de gentillesse. Allez y les yeux fermés.

That is a typical tourist destination. quality moderate, portion small and service ok. price too high. no place for the second time.
