What Jonnie Beatty doesn't like about Chompers Diner:
The food was average considering the price, the restaurant is more of a roadside drive-thru than a traditional diner, and there are no restrooms available. The service was for take-out only, and the overall meal experience was rated at a 2 out of 5 for food quality, 1 out of 5 for service, and 1 out of 5 for atmosphere. The average price per person was between $10 and $20. View all feedback.
Need to back off on the mayonnaise so much it was running down my arm. Over price for what you get
Just trying out restaurants in Chiefland to see where we want to make a real dinner stop. The Bacon, Chicken Mac and cheese is amazing, fried shrimp were good, but small.
Stop to pick up a hot ham sub thought it'd be better than the ole Subway. Paid $11 got home opened it up one piece of ham one piece of cheese! I'm not kidding one piece of ham and a piece of cheese for 11 bucks with a sweet tea. If it wasn't too far to drive back out of toss it on the counter and asked what the problem was with this sandwich. It's expensive the portions aren't enough for the price unfortunately it's the only thing around for a couple miles and the Tourist that go to the park don't know anywhere else to go so that's it the only place high price not much to eat portions not good I give it less than a star if I could.
Ordered a bacon cheeseburger and it had no bacon, but was soggy. This place used to be good.
The $5 burgers are the real deal, fresh delicious. not so the fried mushrooms that were darkened.
