Nice and clean restaurant. Quick service. If you ever go around, it's worth a detour. several go out of poutine and hamburgers are excellent.

I have been going to Chez Roger since the 1950s. It was on the way from home in Greenfield Park to my aunt's farm in Dunham. A stop at Chez Roger was a treat, each and every time. Having left Quebec in 1977 we can't go as often but every trip home, about twice a year can see us there. Our traditional choice is a couple of all dressed steamies and fries. We have never been disappointed, even after 60 years and they still add extra fries to the containers.

Fries are great. ergo, everything is good at roger !rapidly, you are served a poutine, a squid or a couscous salad (what you wouldn't have found on the menu 50 years ago). This is a nice stop to make after a long bike ride on the green road 1.
