Just give a 5 star because I was here 7 years ago and I remember the spicy meat noodles and cooked fish. I really wish I had the recipe as I live far away from this amazing authentic restaurant! I miss the taste so much! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Formosa Chinese:
I ordered a late lunch from this place. The food looked good. It was fried rice and general Tso?s chicken. The chicken was too hot. The fried rice was not very freshly prepared. The food was decent, however, I feel that the portion size was less as compared to their price. You can check the picture how small quantity it was. Otherwise, it was decent. Update: I again ordered a house special Lo mein, this time through... View all feedback.

Absolutely Fantastic!. My wife and I frequent Formosa about once every other week, and we are never let down. The food is fresh and not bogged down by sodium or MSG. It tastes like real food, something you don't get at other Chinese restaurants around here. It's a great value for the food and you'll oftentimes get more than you can eat in one sitting. One dish of Chicken Fried Rice is easily enough to split between two people. If you really want a value, though, stop in for the early birds (between 4 and 6, I think). We do that a lot and between both of us getting our own meal and an appetizer, our ticket is still under $30. Even more amazing is that the staff has always been super friendly to us and treat us like guests rather than customers, something that is very rare in any restaurant.<br/ <br/ The steamed dumplings are our favorite appetizer just thinking about them is a mouth watering experience. I'm partial to the General's Chicken or Sesame Chicken, so much so that I can't stand to eat it anywhere else now. <br/ <br/ Do yourself a favor stop in and give it a try. It is well worth it and both your taste buds and your stomach will appreciate you for it.
Won't be ordering from Formosa again. Egg roll was good, but the orange chicken was absolutely filled with orange peel. I'm fine with zest, but this was just chunks of an entire orange peel. Chicken was cooked okay, but I ended up with about 5 too many bites into orange peel even after picking through it. My wife said the chicken lo mein was okay.

Update: I again ordered a house special Lo mein, this time through another food delivery app. It came quickly, and it was hot. The portion size was decent as compared to the price. It was a bit oily and watery which I didn?t expect in a pan fried noodles). Otherwise it was a decent choice.
Old restaurant, but nice staff. The food was terrible, tastes like they never wash their pans, or use rancid spices idk, but it did not taste decent at all.
