What SeaGuys doesn't like about The Rock Wood Fired Kitchen - Federal Way:
The service was unusually slow at this restaurant. We had to ask for napkins and forks, and had to remind the server twice about bringing cheese and pepper. At one point, we had to leave our table to find the waiter and request these items. View all feedback.
The pizza here is fantastic. The non-pizza menu items are good but not great. Be prepared for slow/absent service from the waitstaff and long wait times for your food to come out if its busy (took an hour for our food on a recent trip). I used to love this place and we came here quite often but its not the same as it used to be. We've been 2 times in the last 2 months and each time was disappointing.
All good except the grill was broken so my guest was unable to have the hamburger he wanted.
The service was horrible. Very, very slow and the place was not busy at all. Over half the tables were empty. We made a reservation to be safe, got there 25 minutes before our reservation, with over half the tables empty and still had to wait 10 minutes to be seated. We won’t be back here anytime soon.
Bartender didn’t make the drinks we ordered and the server apologized and said she would take it off the bill. The bartender came to us with a bucket and said “I heard you guys think I made your drinks wrong.” And took our drinks off the table and pooped them in the bucket. Totally rude when the server and the Bartender communicated poorly to each other! The restaurant was also not crowded but took our food over an hour to come out!
There were a lot of delivery orders so ours kept getting bumped. It took 45 minutes to receive our meals!
