This unassuming restaurant was great! I believe it was the owner who waited for us outside and showed us to our table. I'm amazed at how efficient they were with such a small kitchen. We had the steak, tripe, and ripolli. All good View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Trattoria Le Mossacce:
No seasoning on the florentine steak. Everything was just ok, we were expecting much more from this experience. Bathroom was located down the block and you had to ask to use it so they could walk you there and unlock it for you. We shared a table with another couple. View all feedback.
A very rustic and authentic experience if you hunt Nouvelle cuisine, then Mossacce is not for you. If you experience traditional, regional food with a qualified hand and high-quality ingredients, and Florence from years away, then book a table and enjoy your visit.

Immergersi nella vera atmosfera Fiorentina. Bravi ... non cambiate
No fancy table cloths and small menu but the food and service made up for it! Felt very much like a family style restaurant. Since there were just 2 of us, we shared our table with other patrons so a bit of a tight squeeze. If you are looking for a quick, authentic and reasonably priced dinner, I’d recommend this place.
