A lots of red wine and some very good local French, up market home style. I loved the oyster pie starter and enjoyed the duckling breast. A small but very good selection of entrees and mains, with some unexpected offerings like local made sausage, veal liver cooked in butter and local pork chops. Seven of us tried the lot and loved it. Atmosphere is cosy and staff and cool and gave us a good space to spread out. Mains from 20 euros. Good value.
We were booked in by our hotel. the staff were welcoming and the food very good. It was fine for gluten free.
The very good surprise after an afternoon spent at the castle of Fontainebleau and us starving. All homemade and excellent traditional French cuisine at its best for relatively affordable price. Wine was also excellent and service very friendly!
This restaurant off the main street going through Fontainebleau was a great find. The menu is limited to one page which means the chef can focus on what he does best. The wine list is limited too but the choices are first rate.
