At the corner of irving and albert street stands this no frill indian and bengladesh restaurant. we had goat biriyani and aloo curry, both cooked bengladeshi style. the biriyani was not made of the usual bismati but unusually with broken rice. however, i must say that they were on par with the home made spicy bengladeshi dishes made by friends. fiery hot, but not overrun with spices.
Very tasty food and reasonable price They have many menus. Staffs are very friendly. Another advantage is its very close to Footscray Train station
Had a taxi driver from Bangladesh and he stated that their food is as good or better than Indian food.
I was having a craving for Indian and after reading the two reviews on Madhumoti I decided that it might be an exciting change.
