The FORBES Gardens has the best Singapore Noodles that I've tasted so far. It is accessible to most of the motels in the area and there is plenty of parking space. The servings are quite large and are reasonably priced View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Forbes Garden:
Called in for a late lunch and the chef said he wld make me a chicken salad, which he did....cos lettuce, chopped cold chicken, onion,peppers,carrot cucumber. My husband had a ham cheese and pineapple croissant which came minus the pineapple and the cheese hadn't melted. Really good Chinese food with a smile. can not wait to come back to our next visit in forbes.
Freshly cooked. the crispy bark in plum sauce. funny waitress. owners a very good cook.
On the first look there are no vegetarian/vegan meals on the menu (and there is zero on the Entree list) but the waiter told me that the cook could make me a vege table .and I am glad we stayed! the best Chinese I had in many years. the first time in forbes and we are very pleased that we have found this place inadvertently
Had a great takeaway meal the other night, friendly service and the food was amazing. Well worth the walk from Forbes lake campground.
Really enjoy our dinner there. Singapore noodles and Mongolian lamb were more then enough for two. Very nice flavours in the lamb dish, perfect with rice noodles. Prawn cutlets were bit of dry though. Overall enjoyed our dinner there.
