We just dined at The Colonel's Cafe in Forster and must say everything served was absolutely beautiful. The oysters and prawns were really lovely and served with integrity. Yum Yum!! The lamb, pork and salmon were enjoyed very much also. Our teenage sons ate everything on their plates and enjoyed the flavours. What User doesn't like about The Colonel's Cafe:
14 people for lunch. Lovely service. Great view. Food came out at different time. Don't get seafood platter. Very oily, heavily battered fish. Grilled fish is really fresh and good.
What a beautiful spot in the sun for breakfast this morning, that also turned into brunch. Great friendly staff and relaxing atmosphere and delicious food. The fluffy freshly baked scones were amazing.Definitely be back.

This is a fantastic place to ring in the new year with friends! The staff, service, and food were all excellent.
I discovered a hidden gem at this restaurant. The setting is picturesque, the staff are cheerful and welcoming, the portions of delicious food are generous, and the ambiance is delightful, especially with live music playing. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there.
