I've never had an issue at Beatniks and I have celiacs disease. Staff has always been helpful and friendly. The patio is so nice in the summer! And of course the lovely Fort Langley location certainly works in their favour. Great drink menu too ; View all feedback.
What Jastina Maranjyan doesn't like about Beatniks Bistro:
Food tasted good, good ingredients. The service wasn’t great unfortunately (writing this from a server to a server), so cold that I am writing this now… The steak was astonishingly small for its price. Atmosphere and music was great otherwise!Vegetarian options: limited but available View all feedback.
The restaurant had a welcoming atmosphere and great energy. I decided to order the Seafood Linguine and it was absolutely delicious. To top off my meal, I enjoyed a perfectly made Americano.
I had the Classic Breakfast at this restaurant, which included 2 eggs prepared in any style, your choice of 2 sausages or 2 bacon strips, 2 slices of cranberry sourdough toast, and a side of breakfast potatoes. Unfortunately, I couldn't see the cover photo properly due to a shadow, but there was another photo that made up for it. The service was excellent, with attentive staff constantly checking on us for coffee refills. The atmosphere on the outdoor patio was lovely, with plenty of seating available in the historic Fort Langley community. I really enjoyed my experience here.
While Beatniks is known for their huge slices of quiche, recent reviews mention that the portion sizes have unfortunately decreased over the past year. The handmade quinoa black bean burger and artisan salad are tasty options, although some may find the portion sizes to be on the smaller side. Prices are on the higher side, with lunch meals costing around $20 each.
Absolutely love Beatniks! Though it has a smaller menu; it has a great variety! We had the spinach and artichoke dip for an appy and it was super tasty! I had the seafood linguine and it was to die for. It would have been nice to have nore prawns than salmon but that is personal preference. The taste melted in my mouth. Others ordered: the french onion soup (which looked gooey good), braised short ribs (not a crumb left on the plate), and the spring chicken (juicy goodness). For dessert we had the creme brulee. Personally, I am not a fan of the sugary topping but overall it was the best creme brulee I have had. Staff were fabulous; kind and attentive! The only downside is I felt a bit cramped at the table I was at. Will go again for sure!
We love this place I have had the Artisan salad, crab cakes, seafood pasta, and butternut squash ravioli (on multiple visits of course . Everything is delicious. The dining room being too small is my only complaint but they are going to expand soon to take care of this problem love this restaurant:
