A few friends and I stayed at this restaurant after a day at the spa, and we were pleasantly surprised to find that it stayed open late. The food was amazing, and I will definitely return if I am ever in the area again. View all feedback.
What G Lee doesn't like about Obaltan:
I used to enjoy this restaurant, but something about it seems to have changed. The clam was tough and difficult to chew, and the spicy pork feet lacked flavor. Overall, I would rate the food as 3 out of 5. View all feedback.
Best Korean BBQ in Fort Lee, NJ. Owner is AMAZING. Great service. Open late night. Ribeye Steamed EggBeef ComboCast Iron PanPrime Beef
This was our second time here, and luckily we didn’t have to wait this time. The service is really good, all the waiters here are very patient and skillful in cooking the bbq for you. The downside of having someone cooking for you is that it feels a little pressure to eat faster just because they cook so fast, and you know they’re waiting for you to finish the food so they can cook the next thing. However, I still enjoy the whole experience because I can just focus on eating. The food is very fresh, and we ordered a beef set and clams. Just to be aware that they have a minimum order for clams that you must order a dozen. The steam eggs that came with the set tasted so great, and they also make a very great fried rice at the end. I would say the food here is worth what you’re paying for, and I will definitely come back next time. The beef here is of excellent quality. It was delicious and fresh. I ate marbled beef grilled on thick cast iron. I always did my best to serve the customers, so I had a pleasant meal. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Gopchang (a traditional cure).Beef stomach, small intestine, and large intestine, collectively is called Gopchang in Korea. Traditionally Gopchang was eaten to cure back problems, enhance gut health , and reduce anxiety.I like it grilled. In front of you, at your table, it is grilled along with beef heart. It is chopped into pieces and served with soup, eggs, and a variety of Banchans (small plates). My favorite place for Gopchang in NJ is Obaltan BBQ at 799 Abbot Blvd, Fort Lee, NJ 07024See the video (there is fire below the grill plate too)???
