We were on the Labrador Coastal Highway and looking for a quick bite to eat. The parking lot of the Seaview Restaurant looked busy always a good sign so we stopped in. Good decision. The dining room was well appointed with prints on the wall (available for sale) and was spotless. We opted for a table by window and decided quickly on the seafood chowder for me and a sandwich for my spouse. Both were excellent. We reluctantly passed on the homemade desserts .

Located just a few minutes drive from the ferry terminal, this quaint restaurant greeted us with a busy staff taking takeout orders. However, we were promptly seated and served a delicious cup of fresh coffee. Our orders were taken quickly and we enjoyed the artwork on the walls while waiting for our food to be prepared. The perfectly cooked fresh codfish and the impressive fried chicken dinner impressed us both. With our stomachs full, we left for our drive into Labrador with yet another great memory of a fantastic dining experience.

My family absolutely loved this restaurant, we ended up eating here two nights in a row! The chicken and partridgeberry sandwich was incredibly tasty, and the baked apple cheesecake was also delicious. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was very cozy.

You can go from restaurant to restaurant who pretty well serve much of the same things. Sometimes it's the service that brings you back. Had a nice meal at this place and was served by friendly welcoming staff. Will stop here again.
