Cowch Dessert Cocktail Bar

This place is wayyyyyyyyy tooo sweet and sooo expensive the chocolate taste cheap I definitely won't come back here i'd rather eat expensive but good quality desert like Max Brenner

Cowch sell the most delicious dessert pizza. Lots of dessert variety on the menu and the atmosphere here at night is great. Great for a drink or two as well.

After having a nice dinner we went looking for desserts and had never been to cowch before we decided to give it a try despite its bad reviews. Well, the reviews were right. We ordered 2 hot chocolates, the mint chocolate and the salted caramel, and also a small serve of churros. The hot chocolate was disappointing, I had the mint one and wasn't too bad, I could taste the mint and the chocolate but I wish the chocolate flavour had been stronger and it was also runny and nothing like the hot chocolate at San Churro. The salted caramel one was worse, first we didn't expect to not have chocolate on the hot chocolate but what we got served was just milk with salted caramel, was runny and not pleasant at all. They deserve probably a 3 and a 2 respectively out of 5. Finally the churros, was probably the worst thing I have tried in a long time, it was more salty than sweet and had a strong egg taste to it. Also the dipping sauce served together (again we chose salted caramel) was cold which I wasn't expecting and didn't taste like salted caramel at all, I felt like eating a milk custard or something alike. Overall I cannot imagine myself coming back anytime soon.

The environment is very chilling, but so do the staff. Me and my friends went there on Saturday evening and we waited our drinks for 40 minutes. The bar was only half full and they had plenty of staff, it's just unbelievable that we had to wait our coffee for such a long time. What's even unbelievable was that when I confronted with the staff one of them said they were just extremely busy and asked me to be patience. It's pretty obvious that they lack of the passion to serve people and just do things at their own pace. I definitely won't go there for a second time to waste my time and money.
