Eintracht - Frankfurt am Main

This was shockingly terrible at my high expectations from star ratings. after the arrival we waited 15 minutes for an empty table.

It is a restaurant of the local sports club. Kitchen is regional German (wife) and Indian (host husband).Always full, real full, sometimes packed. Good quality moderately priced. This attracts a large audience.

This restaurant is a little hidden but once you have visited, you are going to come back again, then bring friends too. Thats exactly what I did :) I almost always order the Butter Chicken dish and a naan to go with it. The butter (?) rice which comes with the Butter Chicken is just as fragrant but the naans are sooo well-done (for frankfurt standard so I simply cannot resist). This time I ordered a german dish (Jägerschnitzel) after seeing so many of the locals ordering various german dishes. I figured that although the owner is Indian, he must be doing something right as well with the german food. My guess was right :) My only issue was with the service, I think everybody was really friendly but I didn't like that they do not take note of what we have eaten? I know this system is based on trust but it still feels a little strange...

Amazing hidden gem and being Indian it takes a really good restaurant to make me say its a good Indian restaurant. But this one is. The best bit is that the owner does change the falvouring / spice to your liking. The chicken masala with fried eggs is something that one gets in really traditional restaurants in India and he created that for us. Foods cheaper than most Indian restaurants in Frankfurt as well. Clean decor and relaxed atmosphere. Loved it

Best Butter Chicken in Frankfurt! By far the best Indian restaurant in Frankfurt. All cooks are from North India and the flavours you get are typical of North Indian style cooking. No other Indian restaurant come close to this place.
