Contribute Feedback What Cornell Mueller doesn't like about Kenkey House:
- nasty service (30min waited to order or pay at the end even though you have 3 people informed!)-Sleight time management (incapable service forces/service)-Sleep in the restaurant (behinder room) you have to scream yourself to be entertained-zero orientation/loving garnishment of the speisen (zb Salat/Gemüse)-Auge is easy! Worse than a treacherous french!I do the chefs always suffer because their work is ok .but the rest (Ambiente/Lautstrength,Eternal Waiting,Service forces overwhelmed and have zero plan of nothing) makes everything too no!.
After a trip across the city I stood a quarter of an hour after the opening time before a closed, dark and lifeless local.
The interior is a bit thrown together and the service does not definitw the fastest, but that doesn't matter at all: here there are eating like in West Africa! fufu, banku, kenkey and also desire local specialties that are not on the map but are spontaneously conjured. the portions are large and the prices fair. on special request a small bowl is also served to wash hands, so you can eat with the fingers. only minus point: unfortunately, they do not always have all the ingredients in stock, so it is usually associated with a bit of luck what you can order. ;)
Both the simpleness of the rooms, the type of eating and the ease of the staff have reminded us of the culinary impressions of togo. the resistance of the fufus is if in the mouth stabbed something different, but as a saturation supplement ok if the sharp sauce is right. it has voted - we are coming back. the star beer is more understandably more expensive than German, but belongs to the feeling of Africa.
Eating in the kenkey house is like a holiday in ghana! the various dishes are lovingly and skillfully prepared. you even get original Ghanaian fanta! the service is friendly and competent.
Was last Saturday to Saturday evening buffet for 12,- € da.Positiv is the dining room and the beer garden, as well as the friendliness of the staff or owner. there were chicken bones, fish tails (with the meat on it) and quite hard meat pieces. the meat on the bones and bones was very dry, as was the bark. However, it was quite deliciously seasoned when one had managed to cook a piece of meat from bones and bones. The supplements manioc, bobanans and rice were in order, as were the sauce. the cicherebsen were tasteless.Factory: for such inferior meat/fish I won't spend €12.
