Nice service, small cozy restaurant. Children suitable. It was there with my daughter and a friend. The waiter explained everything exactly. Eating is great. Anyone who wants to eat asia in Frankfurt should go there View all feedback.
What Antonina Davis doesn't like about China Yung:
Based on the review, I thought this restaurant could be a good dim sum restaurant. But the food quality and taste are not up to the standard. I think it is more for Caucasian instead of ChineseCantoneseAsian. I would not come back for dim sum...again. But i might come back to try their other food. Service is good though View all feedback.
This small restaurant is located on Oeder weg, not too far from Zeil, and was recommended by Asian friends. There is a really good selection of dim sums with some original flavors, also Cantonese duck and many other dishes. Friendly people and good prices for this area.
We saw homemade dimsum and want to try for lunch. But it was not that good. Some dish was too salty others too dull.only the lithle steamed dish was ok. Was not as good as expected
We visited Kowloon City today, for the second or third time. As always, the atmosphere is cozy and inviting, prices are very reasonable and the food is delicious. The Dim Sum menu had new offerings, including season specials with Rote Beete ((beets) Maronen (chestnuts) and Kuerbis (pumpkin). The new dessert offering were rice balls covered in sesame and filled with chestnuts, with some honey on top - delicious. All five dim sum dishes we tried were very good (priced 3.40-4.00 euro), and we also had a very tasty dish from the business lunch (Tagesmenue) - fried Udon noodles with chicken and vegetables, accurately spiced with freshly ground black pepper. The dish was a bit small for a hungry man, but still a good deal for the price (7.80 euro including a small bowl of Peking soup). This place comes highly recommended, whether for a weekday lunch or a romantic weekend dinner.
We happened to be in Frankfurt and fancied some dim sum and found this place in google. Although we live in Germany we are used to the dim sum in China Town in London. Although the restaurant is relatively small with less than 10 tables, the food was surprisingly good. Surprising because we've had dim sum in Germany before, and it's normally awful. Here, although the choice of variety was moderate (no chung fun, etc) what was on offer was rather good. We had the dim sum platter for two, pak choi, mini spring rolls and cantonese duck. The dumplings and char sai buns in the platter were good; so were the spring rolls and pak choi. The duck was a bit of a let down, we had expected thin pancakes to go with it, but instead got flat rice breads to roll the duck, spring onions, & cumcumber with; saying that, the taste was OK.To summarise, OK for London standards, but excellent for Germany. We will be coming again.
Best dim sum in a loooong time. I would say the best I had. We choose the mix platter to get a flavor of all and shared a main course which was more than enough. Make sure to try out the home made lemonade or Thai ice tea as well.
