Pier 95 - Freeport

Cute Restaurant over looking pier...picturesque! My stuffed shrimp was excellent. Celebrated a birthday here!

Wonderful selection of seafood and other items. Delicious, fresh, and great for all occasions. Highly recommended.

I would only recommend this restaurant if your server is Jose. This was our 41st wedding anniversary and I was so looking forward to having dinner here. My husband and I have been here several times before for dinner and our server was always Jose. While they are known for slow service, Jose always checked with us if we needed anything or even to clean the crumbs off our table. The server we had on this particular occasion was awful! SHE delivered a pitcher of sangria with 2 glasses, which I did not ask for, I only wanted a glass of sangria. What happened was the person who seated us took our drink order and SHE may have misunderstood the order. Ok, so mistakes happen, however when I told her I only ordered a glass of sangria SHE walked away in a huff. It took her a good 5-6 minutes to return with my wine. Then we waited another 10 minutes for her to finally come back to take our meal order. SHE stands there with pen and pad in hand waiting, no What would you like? Or Good Evening, I am your server. And did not tell us the specials that were offered. I did not even know that there were specials until we finished our dinner and heard another server repeating the specials to the table next to us. SHE never checked to see if we needed anything, at any time during the meal, even though she passed us many times. So we decided to skip dessert, and pay the bill. Before leaving the restaurant, I did inquire if Jose still worked there which he does, it just happened to be his night off. Therefore, next time I will make a reservation requesting Jose as my server. By the way SHE was the only female server there.

Unfortunately, our experience was not very good. People who were seated after us, were waited on before we were. We had to ask for menus, bread plates, drinks... Our server seemed to have too many tables. When our food finally arrived, the seafood was mostly overcooked and the skirt steak was tough. Sadly, we not be returning.
