AKI JAPANESE - Fremantle

THIS SUSHI IS SO CHEAP AND MADE TO ORDER WHAT A DREAM COME TRUE. Super cheap, super fresh, good portions and a favourite of mine. Pity it's not open everyday.

The best and i believe the only one authentic japnese food in Fremantle area :) all staff japanese, food japanese, everything japanese.

Yesterday was the 2nd time we bought the takoyaki from this store. Before, we were always walking past it and never gave it a 2nd glance. Well I am glad that on the previous visit we decided to give this store a go.  We bought the ones with the chicken meat cos' little princess doesn't like octopus and yesterday was the same, we ordered the chicken takoyaki. As another reviewer mentioned, the takoyaki are made fresh and this really shows in the taste. The takoyaki were cooked well, they were neither soft or tough. Just the right amount of chewiness.  As before, little princess and I were fighting over who gets the last one cos' we just love these takoyaki. Not exactly cheap for what we paid but the takoyaki were really tasty. Not many Japanese places offer takoyaki cos' they would need to get that special equipment for it. I am glad this store is in the Freo market along with our other favourite food outlets.

Delicious, fast and friendly. Popped in 20 minutes before closing on a Saturday and ordered the takoyaki, bento box and yakisoba. Took ten minutes to cook and was magnificent. Pop in and give them a go if you're wandering past, you won't regret it.
