Takara Sushi & Grill - Fulda

Visited this place again this year. Last time I found that the quality wasn't great, but at least for the price decent. It has only gone downhill since then. prices went up (albeit slightly) but quality was awful. The fish was soaking wet, rice was...more like rice pudding, warm dishes not up to standards. Unless you really want to come to binge-drink at this place (cocktails still very cheap), look for something better.

I would have given this stars because the food was just average, but since you only pay euro for dinner AYCE, it was worth it's value. Cocktails during happy hour are only eur, so again excellent value. Certainly worth a visit if...you are hungry and in the neighbourhood. Best to make a reservation, cause it can fill up quickly.

I was there on a Saturday night with two friends around and the place was full. We waited a few minutes for a table. The menu is standard Japanese buffet with sushi and some other dishes. expensive dishes you have to pay a...few euro on top of the buffet price and this is when it started to get weird. We could order dishes per person for each round and will be charged if we could not finish everything. We waited a long time for someone to serve our table as the tablets for self ordering were not available. On the first round, we were served the a dish with extra cost, which we did not ordered. When we told the waitress that we did not order the dish, she immediately said that if we would not take the dish then we have to pay as we made a left over. We were taken by surprised of her reaction but okay it was just a few euro more and we though whatever as we were starving. Same thing happened the next round, same reaction from the waitress (a different one). I was a bit annoyed at this point so I asked her to bring back our paper order to confirm this. She just said Ok! Ok But did not bring back the order nor say anything. Sorry to say but I would not surprised me if they did this on purpose. Food was not bad but not exceptional either. Just hope it was an honest mistake.

Good Sushi restaurants are hard to find this one is as perfect as you get out Japan. Everything is fresh Sushi Is made fresh in front of you the staff is super friendly and helpful on choosing your meals, normally I don eat sushi but...here can't resist. The other meals on the menu is fresh nice and proper large portions to match the price. Children friendly and my daughter can't get enough of the crispy duck. Toilets are very clean and tucked away nicely. Ongoing again tonight. Try it you won't be disappointed or dissatisfied. Total thumbs up

My wife and I met our son at this restaurant on a Sunday afternoon, and the place was completely full. Reservations are suggested! The staff was busy, but still friendly and helpful. The tablet ordering went fairly smoothly, although we did get a couple of...items we didn't order, and a couple others didn't make it to the table. This was not really a big deal, though. The food arrived quickly, despite the crowd, and was adequate with respect to quality, but nothing to special. All in all a good deal for a person.
