I have arranged a wedding shower in the barn room. very spacious room with separate bathroom served the purpose I hoped! liz was very pleasant and accommodating throughout the planning process. let's eat! Everyone in our party has swept over their food and how good it was. there were 2 people who ordered the garnel grains that returned their meal for something else, but alex was more than accommodating. I recommend you to try them out! Eat, drink and service was at the top! can not wait to go back!

My wife and I stayed on a Friday night for dinner on blue gill quality food in gainesville florida. there was no waiting time and we sat immediately, although there were customers scattered in the restaurant and bar, it was not crowded in any case. the service was great, eating was great, and the drinks were good. for a starter we ordered the blue cheese chips. for entrées we ordered the fish specialist and the blue gill burger. the food was brought out in time and the appetizer and entrées had a good time interval between them. they have a great selection of drinks, weeping and local beers. I ordered the coffee stout that was on hahn and it was delicious. next time they are in gainesville, you should definitely watch a blue gill quality food.

We used The Barn at Blue Gill for a retirement party this past weekend and everything was perfect! The food and drinks were absolutely delicious, the service was fantastic, the party room was lovely, and the communication with the Blue Gill team was excellent throughout the planning process. Our favorite foods drinks were the fish dip, pimento cheese plate, margaritas, shrimp and grits, pork rind fried chicken, and the strawberry shortcake! I HIGHLY recommend Blue Gill for your next event!

To have had Blue Gill cater our wedding was such a delight! Claudine and Bert's expertise exceeded all expectations. Not only were the selections delectable and highly complimented by our guests, the care with which Claudine assisted us through menu and set up suggestions and more was immensely appreciated. I cannot recommend this place enough. We happened to stop here otw from West Palm to Texas. Before we even got there, they were more than accommodating. I had called ahead to see if they had any outdoor seating because we were traveling with our pugs. They put a table outside just for us! Anyway, I’m not exaggerating when I say that the food and drinks were the best I’ve had since moving to Florida 4 years ago. My husband and I shared the short ribs, blue cheese salad, and fried cauliflower. Literally the best we have ever had. Please support this business. You won’t be disappointed!!!
